Ivory outfit with linen overshirt

100% linen, with a natural, off-white appearance. The T-shirt is in 100% cotton, with a crew neck. The overshirt has mother-of-pearl buttons. The trousers are fitted with two side pockets and two back pockets.

The trousers have an extendable waistband and 4.5-centimetre turn-ups at the hem. The overshirt is worn open, over the T-shirt, as the outer layer of the outfit. The cotton T-shirt offers a simple base that does not distract, but enhances the outfit visually.

No lining. The trousers feature clean, snag-free seams, a rubberised grip strip on the inside of the waistband, and an after-dinner split, for a slight loosening after a hearty meal.

This outfit is well suited to summer holidays, city breaks or weekend outings on days of high heat. It is equally fitting for informal dinners while on holiday, where brown suede penny loafers complete the outfit without making it overly formal. The overshirt can stay open both during the day and into the evening.

For long-lasting wear, our recommendation is professional dry cleaning of the trousers. For the overshirt and T-shirt, we recommend gentle washing at 30°C or dry cleaning, dried flat to prevent stretching, and steam-ironed while the fabric is still slightly damp.
