Camel four-piece outfit

S110 wool, milled by Vitale Barberis Canonico, with a fine texture and a natural, camel appearance. The shirt is made from 100% linen, milled by Albini, with mother-of-pearl buttons. The jacket includes two patch pockets. The waistcoat has two outer pockets and two interior pockets. The trousers are fitted with two side pockets and two back pockets. All edges are finished with AMF stitching.

A custom-cut jacket, with 11-centimetre notch lapels, a single-breasted closure with ivory mother-of-pearl buttons, and two back vents. The waistcoat fastens with five buttons and is made from the same fabric. The trousers have an extendable waistband and 4.5-centimetre turn-ups at the hem. The linen shirt provides excellent ventilation.

The jacket is half-lined with cupro, in a camel shade, breathable and wear-resistant, with a silky hand. It has four interior pockets, one for a pen and one for business cards. The same cupro lines the waistcoat and covers the back. The trousers feature clean, snag-free seams, a rubberised grip strip on the inside of the waistband, and an after-dinner split, for a slight loosening after a hearty meal.

This outfit is well suited to a civil wedding, senior corporate events or public appearances that call for a full suit. It is equally fitting for summer receptions, where cognac leather tassel loafers add a refined accent. The waistcoat can be worn without the jacket, for a more relaxed air, and the jacket can just as well be worn without the waistcoat, when the occasion calls for it.

For long-lasting wear, our recommendation is professional dry cleaning of the suit. The three component pieces should be stored in a fabric garment bag, and the jacket, in particular, on a wide, cedar wood hanger, to prevent the shoulders from losing their shape. For the shirt, we recommend gentle washing at 30°C or dry cleaning, dried flat to prevent stretching, and steam-ironed while the fabric is still slightly damp.
